Today, our current situation is framed by the increase in accidents that occur in places with steep terrain, largely caused by the promotion and massification of sports practitioners related to the mountain environment. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly necessary to have a greater number of professionals in the emergency sector, who have specific and sufficient training, to face this type of situation with minimum safety guarantees. This course constitutes a first level of knowledge regarding the techniques and the environment in which rescue operations are carried out in vertical environments.

What does it prepare you for?

This course will provide students with the necessary skills to be able to recognize the functions of a vertical rescue unit, become familiar with the characteristics and functionalities of the different installation materials, in addition to knowing how to recognize the different types of pulleys and rappelling movements.
