Currently, there have been many advances that have occurred in the metal sector, especially in machinery protection techniques, but even so, too many accidents occur, especially due to the use of poorly protected machines, the fact that safe work instructions do not exist or are not followed and that unsafe behavior occurs on the part of the personnel who handle them. The main objective of this course is to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to avoid all types of risks, as well as to act in the most appropriate way in the event of an accident, thus offering the keys to carry out the prevention of risks and occupational accidents in the metal sector, at a professional level.

What does it prepare you for?

Prepare as a technician in occupational risk prevention in accordance with current regulations (Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs). At the end of the training action, the student will have basic knowledge of occupational health and risk prevention and will be qualified to perform the preventive functions included in Art. 35 of the R.D. 39/1997, according to the Prevention Services Regulation.

Also to professionals who wish to know the basic principles of occupational risk prevention in the metal sector, applying the necessary preventive measures to guarantee occupational health and safety, and to anyone who wishes to carry out the occupational risk prevention plan of their small company (less than 6 workers), or cooperate in risk prevention tasks in large companies.
