In the agricultural field, it is necessary to know the different fields of apiary management, within the livestock professional area. Thus, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge for the knowledge of transhumance and maintenance of hives in the warehouse.

He carries out his professional activity in companies of any size, public or private, both self-employed and employed, dedicated to beekeeping, following, where appropriate, instructions from the person in charge of the operation and may be in charge of lower-level personnel.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the UF2009 Training Unit Transhumance and maintenance of hives in the warehouse, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as such as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).

- Carry out hive transhumance activities, applying established techniques and procedures and using the necessary equipment and means. - List the activities typical of the transhumance of the hives. - List the main transhumance routes. - Describe the flowering periods of the different species of bee flora and the climatological conditions that affect them. - List the activities to prepare the hives for their transfer in optimal conditions. - Describe the techniques and procedures for loading, unloading and placing the hives at the destination (opening of hatches, orientation and appropriate inclination, among others) in transhumance operations.
