- Prepare the piece or area to be tested as well as the work area where the test is carried out using the induced current method to adjust its conditions to the analysis. - Select the testing technique using the induced current method according to the characteristics of the part to be inspected and the established plans. - Adjust the equipment and carry out the operations prior to carrying out the test using the induced current method. - Supervise and/or carry out the execution of the test using the induced current method to ensure the detection of possible discontinuities in the piece, according to established criteria, including the corresponding safety and environmental protection conditions. - Record, interpret and evaluate the results corresponding to the induced current method for the acceptance or rejection of the analyzed piece, according to the criteria previously established by your supervisor, and write, where appropriate, the technical instructions for the operator.
He develops his professional activity in companies of any size, public and private, self-employed or employed, in different sectors in quality control or those dedicated to external inspection services, as well as in research centers. Being able to perform their function in the laboratory and with their field team on site, in structures or facilities. Depending, where appropriate, functionally and hierarchically on a superior and may be in charge of lower-level personnel. The activity related to industrial radiology, in the use of radioactive facilities, is regulated by the Nuclear Safety Council.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1549_3 Non-Destructive Testing using the Industrial Induced Current Method, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
