Some of the main objectives of the package of 3 approved special education courses are: - Define the concept of disability and students with specific educational support needs (NEAE). - Describe the groups of students who have specific educational support needs: special educational needs, high abilities and late integration into the educational system. - Develop the principles and characteristics of attention to diversity in the educational system. - Know the process of detecting educational needs in students. - Plan the psychopedagogical intervention. - Describe the tools and coordination of the teaching team in psychopedagogical intervention. - Know the process of language acquisition and development. - Study the neurological bases of language and phonoarticulatory mechanisms. - Differentiate the different speech disorders. - Summarize the most frequent language disorders. - Describe the processes of detection, evaluation and intervention of speech alterations and language disorders. - Know the different types of generalized developmental disorders, as well as their classification and differential diagnosis. - Learn the different characteristics in the development of children with autism spectrum disorder. - Know how to interpret the different alterations of the autism spectrum: socialization, communication, behavior, anticipation and flexibility, and symbolization. - Know how primary health affects Autism. - Identify and evaluate a child for early detection and diagnosis. - Intervene psychoeducatively with students with students with Autism.

Thanks to the pack of approved special education courses, students will have at their disposal a selection of 3 ongoing teacher training courses with which they will improve and expand the training of the teaching profession. These 3 courses each grant a university degree with 5 ECTS (125 hours), with the total package being 15 ECTS (375 hours) comparable in public administration examinations and job boards.
