What it prepares you for

With this course the student will learn the principles of radiographic technique, receiving some notions about the physics of radiation and X-rays, in addition to knowing the basic aspects of radiology and radiobiology. In addition, this course seeks to show knowledge about performing x-rays in the different areas of the body in a practical and explanatory way, and also the precautions that must be carried out when performing an x-ray. It is mainly intended to learn to discern between the different types of injuries that an x-ray can reveal. This X-ray Operator training is a recycling and/or specialization training for those FP Technician in Rays not including the ionizing radiation handler certification from the nuclear safety council.

To complete this X-RAY OPERATOR training, it is not mandatory to have prior academic requirements since many students complete the training to acquire knowledge or to perform Auxiliary tasks in Radiography. Likewise, other students carry out this training to prepare for the free FP tests held annually by the Ministry of Education and which will allow them to obtain the Higher Technician Degree in Diagnostic Imaging to work in the Raxos X service in both public and private Hospitals.
