- Define the auxiliary operations that are carried out during the handling of females to facilitate their mating. - Describe the basic and health care that should be applied to females during pregnancy and, in a practical case, identify, in animals, the specific signs of this productive phase. - Appoint and carry out the necessary care that must be provided to mothers and babies during peripartum and birth depending on the animal species. - Describe the necessary actions in the management of offspring during the lactation period, applying them appropriately to achieve maximum survival and optimal lactation - Indicate the actions to be carried out with the stallions and carry them out to guarantee reproductive efficiency in a given species.
He develops his professional activity as an employee, in the production area or department of large, medium and small livestock farms, public or private.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0712_1 Auxiliary Operations in Livestock Reproduction, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as such as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
