- Apply techniques for marking, cutting and machining materials according to the dimensions and instructions reflected in the graphic information provided, selecting the corresponding tools and techniques and applying safety regulations. - Apply construction techniques for set structures based on graphic information, the materials to be used (wood, metal, synthetics, among others) and safety and prevention in workshop work. - Apply the covering techniques of the set structures, taking into account the materials used, the aesthetics of the scenographic proposal and the concepts of safety and prevention in workshop work. - Define and apply the manufacturing techniques for making decorative elements with textile material, plastic sheets and similar, taking into account the use and handling for which they are designed. - Select and apply upholstery techniques, depending on elements to be upholstered, materials, design aesthetics, selecting and maintaining tools and carrying out operations in conditions of quality and safety. - Propose and apply specific techniques for handling and assembling the scenic elements, carrying out the analysis of the breakdown, following the assembly plan and carrying out the operations safely. - Define and apply techniques for installing mechanisms and devices in the set for the scenic play and realization of effects, (opening of doors, vertical, horizontal, rotating movements, among others), taking into account the indications of the construction project and safety. - Apply procedures for corrective and preventive maintenance of materials, equipment and machinery installations, as well as their storage, guaranteeing their good condition and safety. - Apply operating principles and procedures for risk prevention related to the safety of workers in workshop work.
He carries out his activity both as an employee and as a self-employed person in companies dedicated to the construction of sets for live entertainment scenography, events and audiovisuals, theaters, television studios, fairs, entertainment companies, theme parks, among others, both in the public and private sectors, under the technical direction of higher-level graduates, in collaboration with professionals of the same level.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1709_3 Construction of Structures and Mechanisms of Sets for Live Shows, Events and Audiovisual, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in them, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
