What it prepares you for

This course prepares you to obtain the necessary knowledge to intervene as Experts in the Courts and Tribunals of Justice, especially in the criminal field, it also provides you with the necessary knowledge to carry out an appropriate accident investigation. Article 335.1 of the LEC (Law 1/2000, of January 7, on Civil Procedure) refers to this figure and establishes that: “When scientific, artistic, technical or practical knowledge is necessary to assess relevant facts or circumstances in the matter or acquire certainty about them, the parties could contribute to the process the opinion of experts who possess the corresponding knowledge…” With this Judicial Expert Course you will be able to practice before demands from Individuals and Companies, Administration and Justice. At the end of the course, the student will obtain a Diploma that will allow him or her to register as a Professional Associate in ASPEJURE and be able to practice in the Courts and Tribunals. It is a course suitable for access to the Court Lists.

This course is aimed at graduates in philosophy and literature and science and/or university graduates or anyone who wishes to obtain the necessary knowledge to intervene as an expert in courts of Justice, especially in the criminal and civil spheres. However, as established by the Civil Procedure Law in its Article 340.1: Experts must have the official title that corresponds to the subject matter of the opinion and its nature. If these are subjects that are not included in official professional titles, they must be appointed from people knowledgeable in those subjects.
