Objectives

- Develop in students those skills necessary to perform the functions of Basic Level Occupational Risk Prevention Technician. - Acquire knowledge that allows students to identify, avoid, correct and prevent specific problems that may endanger the health and integrity of workers. - Know the laws and regulations regarding occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. - Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations. - Make known the basic concepts and minimum requirements of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law in the naval sector and which must be applied by companies in this sector. - Identify and analyze the different risks that may arise in each of the phases and activities carried out in the sector. - Know the main rights and obligations that workers and employers in the naval sector must assume in relation to risk prevention. - Analyze and study the different preventive measures, both individually and collectively, that must be used to prevent risks in the tasks and processes of the naval sector.

Prepare as a technician in occupational risk prevention in accordance with current regulations (Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs). At the end of the training action, the student will have basic knowledge of occupational health and risk prevention and will be qualified to perform the preventive functions included in Art. 35 of the R.D. 39/1997, according to the Prevention Services Regulation.
