Objectives

- Carry out machining and adjustment operations on elements used in plant facilities. - Locate machines and facility equipment with their accessories, applying assembly and settlement techniques based on the assembly plans and current regulations, with the quality provided therein and complying with the standards for the prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Install accessories and interconnection elements of the different subsystems that make up the installations in the machinery plant, industrial equipment and automated installations, complying with the required application and safety standards and regulations. - Determine the activities, resources and work plan for the assembly process of machinery, industrial equipment and automated lines based on the analysis of the technical assembly documentation. - Analyze the prevention and security measures regarding the actions of handling facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of companies in the sector. - Apply the safety plan by analyzing the company's prevention, safety and environmental protection measures. - Relate the safety means and equipment used in the assembly of plant facilities and in the maintenance of automated production lines, with the risks that may arise therein.

Career opportunities

He develops his professional activity in companies dedicated to the installation and/or maintenance of machinery, industrial equipment and automated production lines, in the corresponding departments of the production companies themselves. This qualification is located, functionally, in the areas of installation and assembly in plant and definition, maintenance planning and repair of industrial facilities.
