Students who successfully complete the Master in Geotechnics will be able to prove that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform functions and develop their professional career in the field of Geotechnical Engineering in civil engineering and construction companies, both engineering, architectural studies and construction companies. What it prepares you for

The program covers, in a total of nine modules, the main aspects related to this discipline. In addition to delving into the large traditional blocks, the Master also focuses on the aspect of numerical modeling in geotechnics, which is essential today to carry out responsibilities and functions in this field. In addition to providing the necessary theoretical framework, the Master will also allow students to carry out cases and practical exercises. At the end of the program, the completion of the Final Master's Project (TFM) will allow students to review and apply the most important knowledge acquired throughout it.

It is aimed, first of all, at professionals in the civil engineering and construction sector, which includes Civil, Canal and Port Engineers, Geologists, Geological Engineers, Mining Engineers and Architects. It is also aimed at construction professionals. Likewise, this program may be of interest to students in the final years of the aforementioned specialties, as well as students of postgraduate master's degrees and doctoral students.

With our online learning methodology, the student begins his journey through a virtual campus designed exclusively to develop the training itinerary with the aim of improving his professional profile. The student must advance autonomously throughout the different teaching units as well as carry out the corresponding activities and self-assessments.
The load of hours of the training action includes the different activities that the student carries out throughout their itinerary. The hours of telelearning carried out on the Virtual Campus are complemented by the student's autonomous work, communication with the teacher, complementary activities and readings, and the research and creation work associated with the projects.
To obtain the degree, the student must pass all self-assessments and exams and view at least 75% of the contents of the platform. The Final Project is carried out after finishing the theoretical-practical content on Campus. Finally, it is necessary to notify the completion of the Master from the platform to begin the issuance of the degree.
