- Analyze the prevention and security measures regarding the actions of the manipulation of facilities and equipment, contained in a generic security plan for the sector. - Apply a security plan analyzing the company's prevention, security and environmental protection measures. - Describe the work activities and environmental conditions in underground excavations, especially identifying the risks and safety measures to be adopted. - Use the appropriate personal protective equipment for the different tasks in underground excavation, identifying the different risks of the workplace. - Apply the established procedures to confirm that the safety conditions of the work (gases, support and others) are within the permitted limits to carry out the drilling safely and effectively in accordance with current regulations. - Interpret the drilling scheme, to perform the drilling optimally, identifying the data and symbols used - Operate with the manual drilling equipment, in accordance with the drilling schemes and the equipment's operating manual. - Demonstrate a certain autonomy, at their level and within the framework of their responsibilities, in resolving contingencies related to their professionalism. - Carry out the necessary operations to place the jumbo in its working position, carrying out the necessary checks and connections to carry out the drilling effectively and safely. - Operate with the jumbo, in accordance with the drilling schemes and the equipment operating manual. - Operate with pneumatic or electrohydraulic rotary drilling rigs, in accordance with the drilling scheme and the equipment operating manual.
He develops his professional activity as an employed worker in the production area of large, medium and small companies, public or private, dedicated to underground excavation, maintenance and consolidation of land, with or without use of the excavated materials. Performs activities of a technical nature, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians, from whom he will receive general instructions and to whom he will report. The professional activity of carrying out blasting with explosives is subject to the regulations of the competent General Administration.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0417_2 Underground Drilling, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as your own. Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
