Objectives

- Apply techniques for making doughs and pastas following the instructions of their formulation, guaranteeing the quality and hygiene of the food. - Apply the necessary cooking techniques to prepare pre-cooked and cooked dishes, achieving the required quality, under adequate hygiene and safety conditions. - Carry out, according to the formulation, the dosage, mixing, and, where appropriate, kneading and molding of fish products, achieving the required quality, under adequate hygiene and safety conditions. - Operate with appropriate skill the packaging, packaging and labeling machines and equipment used in pre-cooked, cooked fish products.

Career opportunities

They carry out their activity in small-sized fishmongers, often family-owned, being self-employed or employed. They also carry out their work in medium and large companies dedicated to the production of products from fish and seafood: frozen, preserved and semi-preserved, as well as factory ships and fish markets.
