The term “aquagym”, of English etymology that combines the terms ‘gymnastics’ and ‘water’, brings us closer to a definition of the concept. It is, therefore, an aerobic variant within the aquatic environment. The benefits of this practice are numerous. The inclusion of this practice in our society is increasing. Its success, especially in elderly population sectors or those who have suffered some type of joint or muscle damage. This course offers us the necessary training to be able to work as an Aquagym Monitor. Furthermore, the Trainer of Trainers part aims to train teaching staff to develop different training actions such as official continuing training plans, non-regulated official training or occupational vocational training. The Spanish Fitness Federation only accredits content related to physical activity; any mention of technical-tactical aspects is outside its powers and accreditation.
