The Prevention and Management of Agroecosystem Health course prepares you to identify and prevent pests and diseases in organic crops, using ecological techniques and methods that promote the balance between parasites, pathogens and crops. You will learn to recognize natural enemies of pests and apply organic products safely and effectively, using the necessary machinery and tools. In addition, you will be aware of the basic related regulations, which will be essential for the implementation of appropriate practices in your work. This course is complementary training and does not qualify for professional practice. This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Agroecosystem Health Prevention and Management Training Module, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at accrediting the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training.
