Objectives

- Apply organization and supervision techniques for land conditioning work in construction - excavation, filling and improvement of the land on which it is going to be built, including the improvement of its characteristics -, identifying the construction possibilities of the land - as support or as a loan -, and differentiating the different procedures developed. - Differentiate the different procedures related to the execution of foundations in buildings, both the direct ones -footings, slabs and foundation pits-, as well as the deep ones -piling and pile caps- and the earth containment elements in buildings -walls and screens-. - Apply organization and supervision techniques of foundation work. - Apply organizational and supervision techniques to the execution of earth containment elements. - Apply techniques for organizing and supervising the work of the complementary elements of the building foundation - floors, waterproofing and drainage of basements, as well as buried service networks -, differentiating the different procedures related to their execution. - Distinguish the different design possibilities of the structures that support buildings, recognizing their elements and typical configurations, and identifying the loads they support and the different materials with which they are built. - Differentiate the different procedures related to the execution of reinforced concrete structural elements. - Differentiate the different procedures related to the assembly of structures of prefabricated elements - metal, reinforced concrete and wood - in simple or mixed reinforced concrete structures - Apply organization and supervision techniques of the work of building structures

Career opportunities

He carries out his activity in the area of execution, as a salaried worker in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a production manager and/or a construction manager, or a manager - when integrated into the organizational chart as a foreman. Organizes and supervises its own workers and those of different subcontractors. Collaborates in risk prevention within its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

What it prepares you for

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF2147_3 Works of land conditioning, foundations and building structure, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
