- Understand the “behavioral” variables that come into play in the most common communication processes and alternative systems. - Develop intervention projects that facilitate the user's communicative empowerment. - Use communication systems to support the emission and reception of messages between people who use different systems or oral language.
In general, it may be integrated into any business or public structure or organization whose objective is the development of social intervention programs. Specifically, it may be hired by: - Public Administrations, mainly municipal (departments of social services, departments of social welfare, education, etc.) or regional (departments with powers in the sector or institutes and foundations in charge of managing social services). - Private entities, both for-profit and non-profit (NGO, associations, foundations, etc.). In both cases, these entities can offer their services directly to the user, such as managing publicly owned services or programs. Their work will be integrated into interdisciplinary social care teams, together with higher level professionals.
