- Analyze the technical documentation related to the product to be manufactured (assembly drawings, construction drawings and technical information, among others), to carry out the foundry manufacturing study. - Analyze metal alloys, to determine the process conditions, based on the metallurgical characteristics of the final product. - Calculate the times of each of the casting operations. - Determine the manufacturing costs of a foundry process. - Develop foundry processes, starting from the product requirements, determining raw materials, manufacturing procedures and machines and means of production that enable manufacturing under conditions of quality and profitability, complying with the standards for the prevention of occupational and environmental risks.
This professional carries out his activity in areas of production, planning of the production process, in large, medium and small companies dedicated to manufacturing by foundry and powder metallurgy.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0589_3 Foundry Processes, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself. (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
