Objectives
- Specify the appropriate soil maintenance tasks in each plantation, based on the topography of the land, the edaphic characteristics and vegetation cover, carrying out the same in a practical case taking into account environmental regulations and occupational risk prevention. - Indicate the work necessary to manage the vegetation cover, crop residues and control unwanted vegetation, carrying out the same in a practical case applying occupational risk prevention measures and environmental regulations. - Describe the different irrigation systems and indicate the factors that influence their efficiency, and, in a practical case, plan the application of irrigation, water and carry out maintenance of the installation applying occupational risk prevention measures and environmental regulations. - Explain the methods of soil fertility analysis, the main types of fertilizer and fertilizer products and their application methods, preparing and incorporating them in a practical case, taking into account occupational risk prevention measures and environmental regulations.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0012 Soil Management, Irrigation and Fertilizer, certifying that you have passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
