- Identify the individual capacities of boys and girls, referring them to the stages of development. - Identify and sequence learning that favors cognitive, sensory and motor development. - Plan the temporary organization of the institution, verifying its adequacy to the characteristics and moments of the recipients. - Analyze, develop and apply evaluation instruments and techniques that allow their adaptation to different ages and contexts. - Define and apply techniques and procedures to assess the learning of boys and girls, checking the capacities developed and the achievements obtained. - Define specific actions for boys and girls with special/specific educational needs. - Value the exploration of the sensory qualities of objects as a means to promote child development. - Value psychomotor education as a need for human exploration to achieve knowledge of oneself and one's environment, and to situate educational intervention. - Study typical child psychological development, in order to identify possible alterations. - Know the different theoretical explanations of child development. - Relate the influence that heredity and the environment exert on development. - Describe the development of perceptual-motor abilities. - Identify the effects of attachment on psychological development. - Understand temperament and the factors that influence its development. - Associate the development of different cognitive units and processes with children's psychological development. - Determine the main socializing agents, describing the influence they exert on social and emotional development in particular, and on psychological development in general. - Analyze the role of fear in children's psychological development, establishing the difference between evolutionary fear and phobia. - Explain the acquisition of language and its development within the framework of child psychological development.
