Summary

This ongoing course in Geriatrics and Gerontology offers specialized training in the field. At present, due to the increase in the quality of life, life expectancy has increased, so the world population is longest. The population pyramid has been invested, showing that the elderly population is more numerous. Due to this, attention to this population group becomes increasingly indispensable, arising the need to implement healthcare services and resources aimed at this population.
