MF1635-2 Course prevention of accidents in ski domains

ABSTRACT: In the field of physical and sports activities, it is necessary to know the different fields of beacon of tracks, signage and help in ski spaces, within the professional area Prevention and recovery. - Interpret different types of emergencies action plans and related regulations, discriminating the information related to accidents, technical failures in renovations, other danger situations and the deterioration of the natural environment, to establish the sequential hierarchy of action in each type of contingency. - Select and use the necessary clothing and personal protection equipment necessary in the performance of its professional beacon, signage and surveillance functions of the ski domain, to be permanently identified and protected in accordance with the guidelines of the reference entity and to the regulations of occupational hazards. - Supervise an skiable domain, evaluating the characteristics of the snowy medium and its possible evolution according to the weather and the orography of the land to establish the security limits in which to develop the different activities of the skiing station and the risks of environmental deterioration. - Prepare reports by estimating the risk of using a skiable domain according to the installation conditions and established environmental safety and protection protocols. - Apply conditioning, signaling and beaconing techniques of snowy surfaces to establish a safe environment both in accesses and in the ski domains, taking into account the protocols determined by the organization. - Interpret and, where appropriate, adapt the prevention and reference security protocols to the different situations that occur in a skiable domain and check the informative panels and beacons, reorganizing them if necessary, to establish a safe ski environment. - Apply surveillance techniques in accordance with accident prevention protocols and risk situations and preservation of the natural environment, in ski domains, to neutralize with the greatest immediacy the dangerous or potentially dangerous situations that may occur.

It develops its professional activity both in the public and private sector, autonomously or following instructions from a superior person, collaborating if necessary with others in the preparation of tracks, prevention, surveillance and rescue of injured in natural or artificial ski spaces, providing their services in municipalities, active tourism companies and sports services, clubs and federations with activities related to winter sports.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the formative module 90 mf1635_2: prevention of accidents in ski domains certifying having overcome the different units of competition in it included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of physical and sports activities, specifically in beaconing tracks, signage and help in ski spaces, within the professional area of prevention and recovery, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the prevention of accidents in ski domains.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
