- Facilitate basic knowledge to caregivers to improve the socio-sanitary care of people in dependency. - Promote that caregivers apply the most appropriate procedures and strategies to maintain and improve the personal autonomy of the person in dependency and their relationships with the environment. - Offer information on support products that promote the self -care of the dependent person and the autonomous life of the person in dependency. - Facilitate emotional support for caregivers through self -care actions. - Inform and guide on the most appropriate socio -health resources to guarantee the care, assistance and autonomous life of people in dependency. - Promote the social recognition of caregivers, favoring, where appropriate, an orientation for future integration into the labor market. - Describe the main characteristics and care needs presented by dependent people and their environment, determining the attitudes and values that the professional care professional and relationships with dependent people and their environment must express. - Adapt and apply personal hygiene and bed preparation techniques, at home, selecting the products, materials and utensils of common use, depending on the state of the user and the type of technique.

In general, you can exercise your activity in the organization, execution and control of the activities of direct socio-sanitary care for people and their environment at home.
