Superior Course in Hearing and Language: Detection of language and communication disorders + university degree (5 ECTS credits)

The development of language is fundamental in the first years of life of all people, so the upper course in hearing and language is the ideal tool to get to know all the neurological, physiological and anatomical processes at the functional level, which will help you understand this complex and fundamental development for the development of the human being, in addition to knowing the processes and techniques used in the detection and diagnoses of the most common pathologies.

After completing the upper course in hearing and language, the following objectives will have been overcome, among others: - To know specifically the concept and classification of speech, language and communication disorders. - Identify different articulation and speech disorders. - Identify different language and communication disorders. - Learn about specific disorders of written language. - Know the involvement of language in the different disabilities that can be found (auditory, motor, intellectual, etc.). - Evaluate and intervene in language processes. - Intervenely intervene in speech and language alterations. - Identify, evaluate and intervene in the different written language disorders. - Perform different evaluations to try to intervene properly in language disorders in hearing, motor and intellectual disability. - Know the types of deafness that exist - Learn to evaluate communicative and linguistic capacity in auditory deficiencies - Know the different types of auditory prostheses that there are - Know the functioning of programs for the early detection of hearing loss - Learn the intervention classes in auditory deficiencies

Training of professionals belonging to the field of education (educational centers, reinforcement, etc.), in associations (multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, laryngectominados ...) and in private consultations.

This upper course in hearing and language will help you to know specifically the concept and classification of speech, language and communication disorders, as well as the different articulation and speech disorders, different language and communication disorders, etc. Similarly, you will learn the techniques used in their detection and diagnosis.

The upper audition and language course is aimed at professionals in the field of speech therapy or education, as well as psychologists, pedagogues or psychopedagogues who want them to be interested in expanding or updating their knowledge in this area, as well as anyone who feels curious about the subject.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
