UF0108 Course preparation of reagents and samples for chemical analysis

At present, market competition is considered as the main factor when developing chemical analysis. The new creations make it essential to organize and apply techniques and methods of chemical and instrumental analysis, on subjects and products, oriented to quality and research control, acting under standards of good laboratory, personal and environmental security practices. Therefore, this course is intended to provide theoretical-practical knowledge to be able to perform and/or direct the preparation of reagents and samples for chemical analysis.

- Determine the chemical nature of a substance identifying its organic or inorganic character, its physicochemical characteristics, interactions and reactivity in isolated conditions and with other substances. - Perform the preparation of reagents, materials, necessary equipment and waste elimination.

This analyst will exercise its activity in companies or laboratories from different sectors, in which chemical and instrumental analysis is needed to check the quality levels of the samples to analyze or investigate new analysis procedures to respond to new situations, or improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the procedures in force.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the formative unit preparation of reagents and samples for chemical analysis. Certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training.

This course is aimed at all those professionally interested or for personal reasons in chemical analysis and control, specifically with interest in chemical analysis methods, and focused on the preparation of reagents and samples for chemical analysis.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
