UF1856 Monitoring and Incident Control Course

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the management and supervision of alarms in communications networks, within the professional area communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to monitor the State and the availability of the communications network and the services implemented, more specifically on the monitoring and control of incidents.

- Explain the characteristics and functionalities of the management and monitoring tools of incidents as a means to register and delegate the incidents derived from alarms and claims, and control the service level agreements. - Describe the configuration and maintenance procedures of the incident monitoring tools derived from alarms and claims, taking into account technical specifications of the tool. - Recognize the information that can be extracted from this tool in order to be able to monitor the incidents and attention time dedicated to each of them. - Explain the functions of each of the departments that exist in the communications company to assign the incidence produced in the network to the corresponding department.

It develops its professional activity in public or private companies or entities, both on their own and on behalf of others, of any size, that have communications network infrastructure and offer communications services, in the networks of supervision of networks and support for customers.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1856 Formative Unit. Monitoring and control of incident Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of computer science and communications specifically in management and supervision of alarms in communications networks within the professional area communications and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the monitoring and control of incidents.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
