Summary
One of the great challenges of societies today consists in enabling intervention strategies that contribute to active aging in order to prevent dependence situations that can be caused by physical or biological factors but which, in general, have to do with psycho-affective issues of these individuals. With this course, the student will learn the necessary knowledge to carry out both animation activities and physical activity exercises with the senior sector with the aim of guaranteeing their well -being and improving their quality of life. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

Official character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). Degree issued by EDUSPORT, specialized center in sports training and accredited by the Spanish Fitness Federation (FEF) which will be able to access as a federated receiving the corresponding professional card in animation and physical activity with older people, in addition to the end of the training, the student will become part of the Spanish Registry of Exercise professionals (ESREPS) that collects the professionals of the year, establishing a standard of quality and Safe and effective advice of customers users of fitness facilities for qualified professionals.
