MF0933-3 Course Organization of Editorial Content

The management of content produced by publishers, text development, its publication, etc., will directly influence how the editorial is perceived within the market, this is its competitiveness and positioning as content producers. For this reason, the elaboration of content corresponds to one of the basic pillars of the quality and success of the editorial product and the editorial itself. Some of the actions that are carried out in the management of the contents are the design, elaboration of content, layout, edition, etc. To develop all these actions it is necessary to follow a series of principles and criteria that will allow to prepare quality editorial products. Throughout the present training module the basic criteria to be followed by the professionals involved in the elaboration of content are reviewed. Thus, after the term of said module, students will be trained for the creation of quality materials. This module is divided into three different parts. On the one hand, we work with the design of editorial products. Once the concept of graphic product is defined, the criteria for elaboration, such as typography, layout, types of format, etc. are studied. On the other hand, guidelines are established in relation to style, typology, thematic, support, content organization, etc. Finally, different forms for image treatment are analyzed.

- Develop products graphic designs and prepare originals for processing. - Define and identify the graphic criteria of editorial works during the generation of graphic design. - Perform the technical and typological indications of the product in the order of graphic design and the model. - Mark the guidelines for the realization of editorial projects based on the work and attending the optimal production criteria. - Know the criteria for graphic design depending on the characteristics of the work, the recipients, the graphic continuity in the series, optimization of resources and taking into account the clarity and effectiveness of the contents. - Check, based on editorial guidelines, design, cartography and layout processes of the editorial work on paper and thus guarantee quality.

It develops its professional activity in public companies, either from the local, autonomic or general administration of the State, in the area of graphic arts and design, as well as in private companies dedicated to the planning and management of editorial projects, as well as the organization of editorial content. It is also trained to properly manage quality control parameters of editorial products, according to the activity regulated by the corresponding regulations.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0933_3 training module. Organization of editorial content certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

Aimed at all those interested in learning and developing their professional activity in the editorial field or any other related productive sector, such as the graphic arts sector, communication departments, advertising, etc.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
