- List the procedures to be used to properly feed equine livestock in each phase of the animal's life. - Describe and carry out the general management for equine livestock used for recreational, work and sporting purposes in the times, ways and manners that allow the established objectives to be achieved. - Identify the means, materials and equipment used to transport equine livestock and carry out, minimizing possible risks, the boarding and unloading of the animals. - Describe the appropriate techniques that should be applied for the movement and transfer of animals in groups. - Identify symptoms of illness, trauma and wounds requiring emergency treatment and apply first aid to equine livestock in the event of these eventualities.
He develops his professional activity in the production area or department of large, medium and small public or private companies, both self-employed and employed, related to the breeding, training, riding and exhibition of horses.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0719_2 Feeding, general management and first aid for equine livestock, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
