Objectives
- Apply the techniques, calculations, and operating modes necessary to obtain adequate quality biotechnological products and services in an environment and/or with sterility requirements - Analyze the quality control systems used in biotechnological processes to develop a quality control program applicable to a specific biotechnological product and service. - Relate the storage, classification and distribution of materials with the quality of the production process of biotechnological products and services. - Relate the development of a biotechnological product and service to the sampling operations in process or in the warehouse. - Carry out physical, chemical and biological tests to control the quality of finished products by applying the corresponding techniques. - Carry out safety and stability tests of intermediate products and the finished product, to control the effectiveness of sterilization methods, antioxidant agents and antimicrobial preservation agents. - Prepare technical reports on production or control of the biotechnological process, including data processing -statistical techniques and graphic representations-.
Career opportunities
This professional will carry out his activity in public or private biotechnology companies, where he will carry out his work in the area of obtaining products and performing biotechnological services, both in those sectors where technologies that involve the use of living organisms or their components are used, this being their main activity, and in those others that, although not their main activity, can innovate some products and processes with biotechnological techniques.

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1558_3 Quality Guarantee of the Biotechnological Product in Process, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through their respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
