Objectives

- Analyze, fine-tune and carry out the process of execution and conservation of basic preparations with multiple applications that are suitable for the subsequent preparation of basic pastry preparations and elementary desserts. - Analyze, fine-tune and apply basic baking techniques and, where appropriate, conservation techniques, to obtain basic desserts. - Analyze, fine-tune and carry out the regeneration process required by basic pastry preparations and basic desserts for subsequent use or consumption. - Analyze and carry out finishing operations on basic pastry preparations and elementary desserts in accordance with their definition, status and type of service, to respond to optimal marketing.

He carries out his professional activity in both large, medium and small companies, mainly in the hospitality sector, although he can also work on his own in small establishments in the restaurant subsector.

What it prepares you for

This course will equip students with the necessary knowledge to prepare basic pastry preparations and elementary desserts. This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0069 Basic Pastry Preparations and Elementary Desserts, certifying that they have passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at accrediting the professional Skills acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route through which they will opt for obtaining the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
