Objectives
- Analyze the technologies and manufacturing procedures and the means used to obtain products, to know their characteristics and limitations. - Choose the manufacturing procedure for casting or forging through cost analysis and adaptation to the production system. - Control and verify manufacturing processes according to technical specifications.
Career opportunities
It carries out its activity in the specific area of applied industrial design in the sector of casting, injection or forging molds or models. Works autonomously in small-sized companies and on simple projects, in medium- or large-sized companies, reports to higher levels and works from preliminary projects.
What it prepares you for
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF0575 Manufacturing processes of molds and models for foundry or forging, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities.
