He develops his professional activity as an employed worker in the production area of large, medium and small companies, public or private, dedicated to open-air excavations, with or without use of the excavated materials. Performs activities of a technical nature, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians, from whom he will receive general instructions and to whom he will report. The professional activities of workers in open-pit or underground mining operations, with regard to general safety standards and those specific to their job, are subject to regulation by the competent Administration. The professional activities of mobile machine operators in open pit mining are subject to the regulations of the competent Administration. The professional activity of carrying out blasting with explosives is subject to the regulations of the competent Administration.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1147 Manual open pit drilling, belonging to the Training Module MF1378_2 Open pit drilling, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Professional Certificate, through the respective calls that are published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
