Objectives
- Identify the work of increasing cladding supports in the construction sector, classifying the different types of applications and their purposes, and specifying methods and work sequence. - Apply installation techniques for the usual auxiliary and collective protection means in the execution of screeds, collaborating in their installation and correcting the deficiencies of those already installed, complying with specific health and safety measures. - Contrast the state of the supports and the environmental conditions for the application of different mortar screeds, both walkable and non-walkable, proposing treatments for each support and determining the environmental conditions that allow the application of the screed mixtures. -Dose the screed mixtures - mortars and concretes - and check their properties when fresh, considering the nature and conditions of the possible supports, and the environmental conditions. - Apply screed techniques - mortar and lightened concrete - leveled on walkable elements, on possible supports and in radiant air conditioning systems, selecting the equipment that best adapts to a given job, placing the insulation and complying with the specific quality and safety and health measures.
Career opportunities
He carries out his activity in the production area, mostly as a self-employed worker but also as an employee in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a manager, and where appropriate organizing the work of his team of operators. Collaborates in the prevention of risks in its area of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of preventing occupational risks.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1655 Mortar and Concrete Screeds, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
