- Analyze the physical, facial and body characteristics of the person to be characterized in relation to the character, identifying the type of prosthesis, products and materials to use. - Analyze the prosthesis development processes for character characterization and select the most suitable products, materials and techniques, relating them to the phases of the procedure in which they intervene. - Apply preparation and protection techniques of the person to be characterized with the requirements of the products and techniques used in the processes of obtaining prostheses. - Apply modeling techniques on positives or directly on the skin surface to obtain prostheses used in character characterization and special characterization makeup effects. - Analyze the methods to clean, disinfect and maintain in good condition the tools, devices and materials used in the production of prostheses, guaranteeing safety and hygiene conditions. - Evaluate the manufacturing process of facial and body prostheses for characterization.
He develops his professional activity as a self-employed worker or as an employee as a characterizer in public and private makeup companies, post-up workshops, prosthetics workshops, film productions, television, performing arts, advertising, fashion catwalks.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2066 Preparation of Facial and Body Prostheses, belonging to the Training Module MF1256_3 Facial and Body Prostheses for Characterization, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, a route for which you will opt for obtaining the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
