- Select the graphic-plastic and/or reproduction and printing techniques most suitable for the creation of the original illustrations, according to the formal and conceptual needs of the project raised in the previous sketches - Determine, through tests and trials, the most suitable supports, equipment, tools and materials for use in processes of making original illustrations. - Apply manual graphic techniques in the creation of original illustrations from previous sketches. - Apply reproduction and printing techniques in the creation of original illustrations, based on previous sketches.

He develops his professional activity in publishing companies, illustration and design studios, advertising agencies, production or audiovisual media agencies, art departments in press and popular media, and video game production companies. In general, he works on his own account, as an independent professional or in a business association, although he can also be employed, in small, medium or large-sized companies or workshops.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF2758 Preparation of original illustrations with graphic-plastic, reproduction and printing techniques, belonging to the Training Module MF2233_3 preparation of original illustrations, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Skills acquired through work experience and non-formal training, the route through which you will opt to obtain of the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
