In the field of child psychology, it is necessary to know child psychological development, in addition to how different aspects (cognitive, emotional, social, etc.) influence it. Thus, with this course of early stimulation and psychomotor skills and child psychological development it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge about child psychological development and the development of stimuli, which will contribute to the proper maturation of the nervous system.

- Study typical child psychological development, in order to identify possible alterations. - Know the different theoretical explanations of child development. - Relate the influence that inheritance and the environment in development. - Describe the development of perceptual-motor capabilities. - Identify the effects of attachment on psychological development. - Associate the development of different cognitive units and processes, with child psychological development. - Determine the main socializing agents, describing the influence they exert on social and emotional development in particular, and in psychological development in general. - Analyze the role of fear in child psychological development, establishing the difference between evolutionary fear and phobia. - Explain the acquisition of language and its development within the framework of child psychological development. - Know the concept of stimulation and its foundation. - Address stimulation from the therapeutic perspective, focusing on psychomotor delay. - Know the benefits, techniques and recommendations of child massage. - Intervention in the early ages using the aquatic environment as an element.
