We must know that we can find a multitude of people likely to communicate (neuromuscular deficiency that affects articulation mechanisms, auditory disability, mental disability ...) in which oral language will be limited by what will be necessary to resort to non -vocal communication systems. For this, there are alternative/augmentative communication systems, which provide a communication route for people with special communicative needs. In addition, this course provides us with the tools to know if there are difficulties in language, in addition to making us known the different disorders and how to act before them.

It develops its professional activity in the field of speech therapy and education in the public or private sphere. It is integrated into a work team with other people from the same area, where they perform tasks of language stimulation together with the implementation of the alternative/augmentative system of communication appropriate to each user.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
