International Master in Dental Radiology

Dental radiology is the medical specialty that deals with generating dental radiologies, in order to make a successful diagnosis and with it, to intervene. Thus, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out the different dental radiology techniques, in addition to knowing the basic aspects of the main oral diseases.

- Know thoroughly the structure that makes up a dental clinic and identification of the main instruments found in it. - Know the basic aspects of oral anatomy and tissues found in the oral cavity. - Define dental radiology and know its history. - Distinguish between radiological equipment, radiographic image, radiographic film, plates and revealing equipment. - Differentiate intraoral and extraoral techniques. - Expand knowledge about caries and main oral diseases.

Professionals of the different branches of dentistry, maxiolofacial surgeons, radiologists and researchers in dental image processing.

This mastery prepares students to acquire the basic knowledge to carry out dental radiology, including the structure of the clinic, the oral anatomy, the equipment necessary to carry out radiology and the different techniques to do so. Therefore, with the realization of this mastery, students will be able to carry out the necessary tasks required in this type of tasks of the proper form.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
