MAPN0512 Course Auxiliary Maintenance Activities, Equipment and Facilities of the ship (full professional certificate)

In the maritime fishing field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the auxiliary maintenance activities, equipment and facilities of the ship, within the professional area fishing and navigation. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to perform auxiliary maintenance operations of the main engine of the ship and its systems, and the guards in the machine chamber, carry out basic maintenance operations of auxiliary machines and elements and equipment of the ship afloat and dry, and act in maritime emergencies and apply the safety standards at work.

It develops its professional activity, in public or private companies of any size, dedicated to the manufacture, maintenance and repair of fishing vessels, maritime, sports and recreation, as well as in those related to the manufacture and maintenance of internal combustion motors, depending functional and hierarchically of a superior. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent administration.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MAPN0512 Professional Certificate of Machine Maintenance Maintenance, Equipment and Facilities, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the maritime sea world specifically in auxiliary machines, equipment and facilities of the ship, within the professional area fishing and navigation and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to performing auxiliary maintenance operations of the main engine of the ship and its systems, and the guards in the machine chamber, perform basic maintenance operations of auxiliary machines and elements and equipment of the ship. Maritime and apply work safety standards.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
