Master in cinematographic direction: Professional Master of Film Director

The film director is the professional who directs the filming of a film, the person responsible for the staging, giving guidelines to the actors and the technical team, making all the creative decisions, following their particular style or vision, supervising the decoration and the costumes, and all the other functions necessary to bring the filming to fruition. With this master, it is intended to get students to understand and acquire the knowledge, trades and professions with which cinema is created, from script writing to the study of tools for the transformation of that script into images, through the learning of the theory of lighting and camera, production, assembly, artistic direction and sound.

- Learn the work of film management. - Train the student in the Directorate of Audiovisual Works, knowing the method and technique of the preparation, filming and post-production processes that both the directors and the rest of the members of the management team are carried out. - Acquire a cinematographic language, frames, plans, sequences, scenes, types and camera angles. - Learn about the characterization, characters and special effects on makeup and hairdressing. - Manage the staging. - Acquire and know how to manage narrative resources. - Acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge about sound postproduction. - Learn to direct the actors, that is, the director's work towards the actors.

Complement to film diploma, interpretation diploma, actor, film director, art directors in advertising, television programs, miniseries, musical videos, video art and short films.

The Master prepares to know in depth what the film direction entails, through the knowledge and learning of its phases, theories, techniques and contents such as audiovisual narratives, film technical means and videographs. As well as the acquisition of adequate terminology or basic concepts to be able to perform the work properly and effectively.

This master is aimed at professionals in the film sector who want to expand knowledge in their area and/or who are interested in learning everything that entails the phases and equipment for audiovisual, technical and script theory, audiovisual narration as well as other knowledge of the subject to be able to exercise as a film director. The Master is also aimed at people not expert in this subject, who are interested in acquiring this knowledge and who consider it of their interest to complement their training.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
