Among the main objectives of the architecture master's degree we can highlight: - Know the legal framework on which urban management is based. - Describe the basic states of the soil in current regulations. - Establish land valuations and the current forced expropriation regime. - Clarify the operating system of the Property Registry and its functions. - Know and determine the field and scope of action according to the current regulations of urban planning law. - Recognize what rights and duties are responsible for dictating the precise actions in relation to urban planning. - Inquire into the type of valuations that are carried out according to the valuations of rural or urban land. - Determine what forced expropriation and property responsibility are. - Point out the functions carried out by the Property Registry according to current regulations. - Develop the urban planning concept, along with its importance for the city. - Recognize planning figures. - List the urban planning instruments. - Establish the characteristics of good urban management. - Describe the rights and duties of citizens with respect to land. - Establish guidelines to achieve a sustainable city. - Analyze the design of highway layouts and urban roads. - Know the signaling, beacon, containment and urban furniture systems associated with highways and urban roads. - Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and/or application recommendations and propose alternatives. - Analyze the design processes of a road layout or urbanization. - Use new design tools for civil works. - Classify documentation and information and identify the agents related to its design and execution. - Know the valuations of the soil law. - Acquire the basic notions of urban management. - Prepare building evaluation reports. - Know the key aspects of forced expropriation and property liability. - Know the concept and principles of the law of forced expropriation. - Establish the characteristics and guidelines that govern the expropriation procedure. - Analyze the right of reversion. - Determine the right of expropriation reassessment. - Learn to carry out the determination of the fair price of the expropriable object. - Conceptualize the expropriation agreement as part of the procedure. - Know what direct occupation and requested expropriations are and their regulation in the law of forced expropriation. - Learn everything related to the registration of forced expropriation in the property registry. - Describe the nature of a project and its life cycles. - Present the phases of the project planning process. - Offer the keys to action in the execution phase of a project. - Describe the different areas of project control: time, costs, risks and quality. - Develop the competencies and skills necessary to manage the project team.
