MF0732-1 Basic Maintenance of Machines and Auxiliary Equipment of the Ship

In the maritime fishing field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the auxiliary maintenance activities, equipment and facilities of the ship, within the professional area fishing and navigation. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to perform basic maintenance operations of auxiliary machines and ships and equipment of the ship afloat and dry.

- Collaborate in the repair and replacement of the damaged or worn elements of the machines and auxiliary equipment of the ship, according to the established procedures, following instructions and according to the regulations for the prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Perform auxiliary maintenance operations of the elements inherent to the unbuilding and dry ship situation, to restore their functionality, following instructions and according to the regulations for the prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Perform auxiliary operations of operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, according to established procedures, following instructions and according to the regulations for the prevention of occupational and environmental risks.

It develops its professional activity, in public or private companies of any size, dedicated to the manufacture, maintenance and repair of fishing vessels, maritime, sports and recreation, as well as in those related to the manufacture and maintenance of internal combustion motors, depending functional and hierarchically of a superior. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent administration.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0732_1 basic maintenance of machines and auxiliary equipment of the ship, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the maritime fishing world specifically in auxiliary machines, equipment and facilities of the ship, within the professional area fishing and navigation and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to performing basic maintenance operations of auxiliary machines and elements and equipment of the ship afloat and dry.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
