MF1911-2 Course Organization of covered work and waterproofing

In the field of building and civil works, it is necessary to know the different fields of the organization of covered work and waterproofing, within the professional area of placement and assembly. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the organization of covered work and waterproofing.

- Identify the waterproofing and covered work both flat and inclined, differentiating the different typologies and systems and their fields of application, specifying the differences between conventional and inverted systems and between the flat and inclined roofs. - Identify the criteria and conditions of execution, quality and health and safety of waterproofing work and flat and/or inclined covers interpreting the documentation of projects and construction plans related to them. - Perform the short -term planning of the work of your team/gang and propose reasonable planning alternatives to deviations and contingencies that occurred in the development of a certain process. - Organize waterproofing and covered muds, considering performance improvements based on the allocation of resources and coordination with related trades. - Measure and assess waterproofing work and flat and inclined covers, describing and quantifying work units, calculating decomposed prices, and preparing budgets for a certain process. - Apply the checks associated with the supervision and quality control of the waterproofing work and flat and inclined covers, developed by operators of the equipment/gang or for the reception of materials and acceptance of supports.

He develops his activity in the production area, as an autonomous or wage worker, in small, medium and large private companies, under the direction and supervision of a manager, and in his case organizing the work of his operators team. Collaborates in the prevention of risk of its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1911_2 Training Module Organization of covered work and waterproofing, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of building and civil works specifically in waterproofing through membranes formed with sheets within the professional area placement and assembly, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the organization of covered work and waterproofing.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
