MF1709-3 Course Construction of structures and mechanisms of decorations of live shows, events and audiovisual

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of decorating construction for the scenery of live shows, events and audiovisuals, within the professional area of the performing arts. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to build the structures and mechanisms of decorations for live shows, events and audiovisual.

- Apply techniques for marking, cutting and machining materials according to the dimensions and instructions reflected in the graphic information provided, selecting the corresponding tools and techniques and applying the safety standards. - Apply techniques for the construction of decorated structures from graphic information, the materials to be used (wood, metal, synthetic, among others) and safety and prevention in workshop work. - Apply the techniques to literate the structures of the decoration, attending to the materials used, to the aesthetics of the scenographic proposal and the concepts of safety and prevention in the workshop work. - Define and apply the preparation techniques for the realization of decorated elements with textile material, plastic sheets and the like, taking into account the use and management for which they are designed. - Select and apply upholstery techniques, depending on the elements to be upholstered, materials, design aesthetics, selecting and maintaining useful and carrying out operations in quality and safety conditions. - Propose and apply specific techniques for manipulation and assembly of the scenographic elements carrying out the analysis of the number, following the assembly plan and carrying out the operations with security. - Define and apply techniques for the installation of mechanisms and mills in decoration for the scenic game and effects, (opening of doors, vertical, horizontal, rotating displacements, among others), attending to the indications of the construction and safety project. - Apply procedures for the corrective and preventive maintenance of the materials, equipment and facilities of the machinery, as well as its storage guaranteeing its good condition and safety. - Apply Operating principles and procedures for the prevention of risks related to the safety of workers in workshop work.

It develops its activity both on behalf of others and on its own in companies dedicated to the construction of decorations for the scenography of the live show, events and audiovisual, theaters, television studies, fairs, show companies, thematic parks, among others, both of the public and private sector, under the technical direction of higher level graduates, in collaboration with professionals of the same level.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1709_3 Construction of structures and mechanisms of decorations of live shows, events and audiovisual, certifying having overcome the different units of competence in them included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which will opt for the corresponding certificate of the corresponding certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically under the construction of decorations for the scenery of live shows, events and audiovisuals, within the professional area of the performing arts and all those interested in learning to learn the construction of structures and mechanisms of decorations for live shows, events and audiovisual.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
