The objectives to be achieved with the completion of this Pladur Online Course are the following: - Check and condition the necessary work spaces, materials and equipment, within their scope of competence, to achieve the performance and quality required in the basic operations of installing PYL–laminated gypsum board, complying with the established health and safety measures. - Form base plates, special and transformed materials, profiles and others and prepare pastes to allow their implementation, complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions. - Cover walls or partitions with laminated plasterboard using the direct coating system, fixing the plates to the support using adhesive pastes, to obtain the planned coatings, following instructions from the team leader and complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions. - Cover walls or partitions with laminated plasterboard using the semi-direct lining system, fixing the plates to the support using auxiliary profiles -masters or omegas-, to obtain the planned coatings, following instructions from the team leader and complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions. - Place the insulating material in PYL systems – cladding, partitions and ceilings to obtain the required requirements regarding thermal and acoustic behavior, complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions. - Carry out the tasks inherent to the installation trades as help to complete the corresponding installations – electricity, plumbing or others –, placing the boxes, mechanisms or opening the steps that have been indicated in vertical walls and ceilings, following the layout that has been indicated and complying with the established quality and health and safety conditions. - Carry out repair and handling operations on cloths with PYL systems, to respect the initial quality conditions, avoiding deterioration in the elements of the system.
