- Define the basic concepts related to safety and health at work. - Identify working conditions, in terms of workplace and work surface, risk factors, preventive techniques and protection techniques, and moral harassment at work. - Analyze labor accident statistics, making an introduction and description of the processes of notification of accidents at work, accident research, statistical treatment, accident communication, their cost and their labor accidents in Spain. - Determine the health control of workers, regarding the surveillance of health and surveillance of workers' health in the regulatory framework. - Explain and understand the regulatory framework in labor health and safety. - Identify the prevention of occupational hazards in road safety, in terms of individual driver's factors, driver's position, active and passive safety systems, among others. - Define the health and safety system in the company, in terms of collective protection and individual protection. - Analyze emergency measures, in terms of their objectives, classification, emergency organization, proceedings of action and structure of the emergency plan, as well as specific prevention and protection measures. - Know first aid, its general elements and principles, as well as the basic life support. - Learn the key concepts about industrial hygiene. - Evaluate exposure to chemical agents and address labor toxicology. - Control exposure to chemical agents. - Apply the specific regulations.

You can work in administration / entities specialized in preventive actions, such as mutuals and consultants, in industrial prevention / hygiene training centers / control of chemical and biological agents in the industry.

The present postgraduate in hygiene and industrial safety enables students to be able to perform the activity of technician in occupational safety and health. It will also receive the necessary training to have a complete vision of the industrial environment in relation to the key aspects of industrial hygiene, applying control and evaluation strategies of exposure to multiple existing agents in this area.

This course is aimed at all those in the field of labor security and HR who want to expand their knowledge in the field of hygiene and industrial safety.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
