UF0048 Course Department Management Processes of the Accommodation Area

In the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically, in relation to the fundamental aspects of accommodation, it is essential to know how to manage the reception department, according to the general planning of the accommodation establishment, developing and ensuring the correct provision of the services that are its own and the execution of commercial actions. Therefore, with the realization of this course, the necessary knowledge will be obtained to carry out departments management processes of the accommodation area.

- Analyze the function and business planning process and define plans that are adequate for accommodation areas and departments. - Analyze budget management and control within the framework of the areas of accommodation of tourist and non -tourist establishments, identify costs and develop economic budgets that allow establishing action programs. - Analyze organizational and functional structures of different types of accommodation and their internal and external relations environment. - Analyze the methods for the definition of jobs and selection of appropriate personnel for housing areas and departments. - Analyze the personnel integration management function. - Analyze and use personnel management techniques applicable in departments of the accommodation area.

Carries out its activity in all types of hotels and other tourist accommodations such as motels, spas, tourist apartments, campsites, holiday cities, rural tourism establishments, etc. It also has a departure in certain entities dedicated to tourist distribution, such as reservations, distribution systems, representatives of service provisions, etc.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF0048 Training Unit Departments Management Processes of the Accommodation Area, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those people who, due to their work functions or for personal interest, intend to acquire knowledge related to the world of hospitality and tourism, in the professional area of the reception in accommodation and, more specifically, with the management processes of departments of the accommodation area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
