UF0050 Course of Room Reserve and other accommodation services

In the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically, in relation to the fundamental aspects of accommodation, it is essential to know how to manage the reception department, according to the general planning of the accommodation establishment, developing and ensuring the correct provision of the services that are its own and the execution of commercial actions. Therefore, with the realization of this course, the necessary knowledge to manage the reserves of rooms and other accommodation services will be obtained.

- Describe the objectives, functions and tasks of the reservation personnel. - Identify sources and reservation procedures. - Interpret the offer, contracts and conditions agreed with the sources of reservations. - Identify the different prices and rates, their legal aspects and the necessary guarantees. - Correctly handle the specific computer programs and the documents used in the reservation processes. - Identify the documentation from the reservations for your information to the rest of the departments and their subsequent file. - In practical cases: interpret the situation of an establishment from the state of reserves and deduce actions.

Carries out its activity in all types of hotels and other tourist accommodations such as motels, spas, tourist apartments, campsites, holiday cities, rural tourism establishments, etc. It also has a departure in certain entities dedicated to tourist distribution, such as reservations, distribution systems, representatives of service provisions, etc.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0050 Training Unit Management of Reserve of Rooms and other accommodation services, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those people who, due to their work or personal interest, intend to acquire knowledge related to the world of hospitality and tourism, in the professional area of reception in accommodation, more specifically concerning the management of room reserves and other accommodation services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
